Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in an LA Traffic Collision

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.

The renowned video game developer passed away following his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
