The Celtic boss declared he did not fear the sack, claiming, “I believe we are extremely close to things turning around,” even after moving dangerously close to being fired with a convincing setback against the Ibrox side.

But that’s why, regarding outcomes, I said it's a repeating pattern. For that reason I feel we are nearly there to things turning around. But for the moment: small things.”

“I saw many, many good things that we did, like today again. But now it’s about performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would not be if I didn't believe it. That’s why I am a big believer the team can to fix this.”

The Rangers Boss Outlook

Rangers manager played down talk of a championship push even after what seemed like a huge result. “Step by step, and we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the group is outstanding.”
